September 2023.
That is when I first walked into Arena with curiosity, energy, and no clear idea of how much this place would shape the next chapter of my life.
Since then, I have carried out of here more than I brought in. Conversations that sharpened me. People who challenged me. Friendships that became real far beyond a screen. A community where I learned, contributed, argued, laughed, built presence, and found people I genuinely respect.
I am not writing this as an ending. It is not one.
I am writing it because every builder should, at some point, acknowledge the ground they grew from. Arena has been part of that ground for me, and I will always respect that.
Over time, the questions I wanted to answer as a builder started to change. I began to see a different product vision in my mind: a different approach to social, community, ownership, identity, and how people connect around digital value. Following that vision became something I had to do with full focus and full responsibility.
That decision was never about turning against where I came from. It was about following the product I believed I needed to build.
To everyone who read me, argued with me, supported me, challenged me, called me out when needed, and stayed in the room anyway: thank you.
The respect is real. The gratitude is real. The friendships are real.
No negativity. No comparison. No unnecessary noise.
Just respect for the past, gratitude for the people, and full focus on building the future.
Onward.
