Alright - this is my final message re: the old team
The more I've looked into the stories from every team member, the more I don't believe any of them were acting maliciously. I think it was just sheer incompetence. I don't believe any of them handled the fallout the best either - not nearly enough ownership across the board, too much pointing fingers and shit talking, etc. Doesn't make them evil people, I just wouldn't choose to work with them on anything they're part of moving forward.
I choose to forgive, which doesn't mean I'll forget their actions post collapse, but it does mean I hold no ill will toward any of them, wish them the best and hope they've learned something from this experience rather then letting it sour them so that history doesn't repeat itself down the road.
We're on to greener pastures. Everything happens for a reason.
