Everyone who has been paying attention and a lot of those who just follow along know that the #WhereMalek treasure hunt has been hiding keys for a wallet full of goodies through out the Arena. I spent a lot of time on this investigation, and here's the takeaway even if you're not local: check whether your own local government uses this same software. What I found isn't unique to Gallatin County — MUNIS, the accounting/ERP system we use, runs in over 3,500 government organizations nationwide. If the same oversight gaps exist elsewhere, they could be affecting your community too.
