Swapped about $100 into
$THROBBIN through the Arena wallet to enter the multichain trenching campaign.
The interesting part about this setup is trading a token that originated in the Robinhood ecosystem directly inside
@TheArenaApp without leaving the app.

1/ Usually, buying tokens outside your main ecosystem means dealing with new wallets, bridging, and fragmentation.
Most people don't bother because the friction is annoying.
I actually saw
$THROBBIN on my TL but gave it a pass initially for this very reason.
2/ The Arena allowed me to bypass all of that by letting me trade these cross-chain tokens straight from my existing Arena wallet, right next to the social feed.
3/ However, swapping back from the Robinhood chain back to Avalanche is clunky.
Having to swap AVAX into ETH on the Robinhood side just to secure gas for the return trip is annoying.
This may not be apparent to a lot of users.
Hopefully the Arena team streamlines this soon.
4/ If they can smoothen the process further, it would make onboarding outside communities a lot easier.
